June 28, 2008

    Battle for a Cure was a great success!   We raised over
    $4000 dollars for the St. Catharines General Hospital
    Foundation!  Muay Thai Niagara would like to thank
    everyone who came out and supported the event and
    this great cause.

Battle for a Cure Fight Results:


        Daryl Ireland (MTN) won his bout by decision.
        Mike Stepanenko (MTN) won his bout by Referee Stopped Contest in the 1st round (RSC).
        James Coomber (MTN) won his bout by decision.
        Jeremy DiFranco (MTN) lost a well fought battle by decision in the main event of the evening.
        Tammy Wolf (MTN) and Melita Hartwell (MTN) participated in an exhibition bout.

    KickBoxing Canada (CASK) held their annual
    awards banquet on March 30th and Muay Thai Niagara (MTN)
    WON two awards!

                              
      Kru Lumyoung won for Official of the year

     Chris Bobko won for Best Male Junior Athlete of the year



March 2008

Kru Lumyoung traveled to Thailand with two MTN fighters for two weeks of intensive training.
